ROBERT F. KENNEDY (1925-1968).Kennedy, the younger brother of John F. Kennedy, began his career as alawyer working for the Senate. Hesuccessfully managed his brother’s Presidential campaign, then became AttorneyGeneral. In 1964, he was elected Senatorfrom New York. In 1968, he ran forPresident, and was shot by Sirhan Sirhan after winning the California primary.

ARTHUR GOLDBERG (1908-1990).Goldberg was the Secretary of Labor under President Kennedy, anAssociate Justice of the Supreme Court and United Nations Ambassador.

As We Remember Joe, edited by John F.Kennedy, compiles twenty essays that recounts Joseph Kennedy, Jr. who died inWorld War II. The book, bound in marooncloth, was privately printed by the University Press of Cambridge in 1945. This is a first printing, second edition withthe wings on the title page printed in black.The book is in very fine condition; the original glassine jacket ispresent by damaged. A terrificassociation piece.
