For sale is a Rodenstock APO Rodagon N 80mm f/4 lens in near mint condition.
Originally designed as an enlarging lens, this is a phenomenally sharp lens that can be used in a number of ways. Use it as an enlarging lens for negatives or slides up to 6*6cm, use it as a high resolution macro lens on tubes or bellows, use it on a tilt shift system like the Zoerkendorfer Zoerk Multi Focus System, the HAMA tilt shift bellows I have used, Cambo Actus, Arca Universalis or any other system that makes good use of its 80mm image circle, apochromatic correction and high resolution. Rodenstock / Linos / Qioptiq or whatever the current name of the company is still offer it new at a considerable price.
Anyway, the lens is in near mint condition, glass free from scratches, haze, fungus or any other detriment. I can only see a few specks of dust between the elements. The aperture ring is smooth, the blades are perfectly clean and oil free. The switch between clicks and click-free aperture adjustment works flawlessly. The barrel is in near perfect mint shape, apart from a mark on the front ring, near the word Rodenstock, see pictures.
The lens comes complete with original front cap, screw in plastic box.
The mount is M39, you may need a simple adapter to mount it on your system of choice. No adapter is included.
