For your consideration is this stunning 5 piece William Rogers chafing dish consisting of the decorative stand, chafing dish, lid, original insert bowl and original burner. The service is the Victorian Rose patternfeaturingflorals and scrolls on the handle, lid and down the legs of the stand. The insert is stamped with an eagle Wm Rogers and then a star to the right, however no other pieces in the set are marked. The item will arrive to you as I have found it and has not been cleaned by me; the item has been used with some minor yet noticeable scratches inside the chafing dish. Theoriginalinsert bowl that sits within the stand and nestles the chafing dish is included. The lid has some darkened areas but does not appear to be damaged or warped and sits nicely on the dish. The burner knob turns and the insert raises and lowers but has not been tested for functionality. Overall the piece is in very nice condition and will look lovely when polished. Wm Rogers is known for silverplate but no silver mark is stamped, and the handle of the dish is ebonized wood.
