On August 6th 1945, then Colonel Paul W. Tibbets Jr. piloted the B-29 Enola Gay on what would prove to be one of the most momentous flights in history. Today the legacy of this famous unit lives on with the newly organized 509th Bomb Wing and today\'s successor to the legendary B-29, the B-2 Spirit. It is only fitting that Gen. Tibbets\' grandson, Captain Paul Tibbets IV, is building on this tradition as a mission pilot flying the B-2 Spirit assigned to the 509th Bomb Wing, Whiteman AFB, Missouri.This print, 150/1000 LE, is hand signed in pencil by the artist and General Paul Tibbets along with his grandson Capt. Paul Tibbets IV. The print was issued in 2002 and has an image size of 16” x 26” and an overall size of 20” x 28”.
