Here is a really nice Rookwood Pottery production figural paperweight of a squirrel eating a nut on a log with ivy. Designed by Sallie Toohey and from the Ivory Mat glaze line. It measures about 4 inches long, 4 inches high and 2 inches deep. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. Marks include the RP die-stamped mark, XXXVII for 1937, shape number 6025, and designer Sallie Toohey\'s cypher a con-joined ST. A good sculptural example of Rookwood figural art pottery.
