1915 HTF Blue Green Early Molten Drip Glaze Roseville Carnelian Ball Vase 318 So much detail in a monchromatic piece! For 1915, this art pottery was way ahead of it\'s time. Thick, molten, flowing, drip glaze and the blue green color of water is what sets this modern-shaped garden ball vase apart from others in the Carnelian line. Look at that one really dramatic drip. There is no pink or purple in this glaze as seen in later Carnelian pieces. Only one on with this glaze. The profile would suit a Mid-Century Modern decor scheme or an Arts and Crafts era home; the design is timeless and pleasing for 101 years old.Collectible pottery and glass descriptions should report all observable condition issues, however small. After rotating this vase under bright photo lights, here is an inventory of variances we saw:
- Marked with a stylized \"R\";
- No cracks evident, see photographs;
- Cannot see any crazing, see photographs;
- Minute impact chip or cupboard wear photographed;
- One faint, fine scratch over an inch long, see photograph;
- Pencil scribbles under the base and inside, pictured;
- 1.5 mm glaze pop, common with Roseville we believe, pictured.
