Old English Rose Cup & Saucer
Vintage Old English Rose pattern teacup and saucer. This cup and saucer was made by Royal Albert (Thomas C. Wild & Sons) of Longton, England. Both pieces have the Royal Albert Bone China mark in use from 1945-1960s. The cup has a 6 ounce capacity and its shape is called “Malvern”. The cup stands 2 ¾” (7 cm) tall at the rim. The saucer has a diameter of 5 5/8” (14.3 cm). This beautiful china will be double boxed and well cushioned for safe shipping.
Condition: This cup and saucer is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, stains, or repairs. The saucer has some insignificant light scratches on the white center field area as would be expected from gentle use. The cup has two flowers that have extremely tiny scratches on them, but these small scratches are hidden in the design and not really noticeable. There are no worn areas on the gold rims and handle.
