Royal Copenhagen 1202 Blue Fluted Full Lace Porcelain Coffee Pot (1968):
$499.00

This classic coffee pot is a premierpiece in the Royal Copenhagen series known as Blue Fluted Full Lace (termed Musselmalet in Danish).Using the original 1775 pattern, revised by Arnold Krog in the 1980\'s, this example is in perfect condition, with no damage whatsoever.

Formerly the Royal Porcelain Factory,Denmark’s Royal Copenhagen, founded in 1775, is famous for its Blue Fluted porcelain pieces, known andmarked as Service no. 1, the firm’s very first pattern. The pattern has been in continuousproduction for 240 years. The Royal Copenhagen mark consists of three wavylines above each other, symbolizing Denmark’s three straits of water -- theSound, the Great Belt and the Little Belt.

This coffee pot is clearly marked on both thelid and the pot itself with ‘1’ (for Service no. 1) over ‘1202’ (model number)and signed ‘LX’, the mark for artist Gamie Larson.

Note the smallline under the letter ‘A’ in Denmark, which indicates production in 1968.

This is an excellent investment piece! Please review the photos carefully and feel free to ask questions.
