New Reduced Price - A real antique piece
Royal Doulton produced this lady figurine produced in the time period 1936-1949 based on the marking on the bottom of the piece. The artist was Leslie Harradine. The bone china lady is in a long dress with layers of ruffles and she is wearing a pink hat with a blue ribbon and flowers in it. The dress has short sleeves also down with two layers of ruffles. The colors are pastel blues and pinks with a touch of red and yellow in the flowers. There is ribbon hanging down on the sides to be tied under the chin in a bow. She is holding a bouquet of spring flowers in red and yellow with green leaves. It appears from the back that she is sitting on a bench. From the back you can see she has brown hair. The face is exquisite with the eye detail and nose and mouth. A very pretty figurine most likely representing the 1800s. She is a little over 6\" tall x 5\" wide. The figurine has never been displayed and has remained in the box received in. This is not the original box. This figurine is very rare to find and thus maintains a high value. There are no cracks, chips, discoloration or imperfections of any kind. The colors are gentle and make her look dainty. There is a letter \'M\' on the back but I have not been able to determine the significance of the handwritten letter. This figurine was also produced in other colors at a much latter date. This figurine is worth even more than the sale price. It rareity makes it a great collectible. You will not easily find this one again.
