A superb large Art Nouveau antique Royal Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase completely encircled with cascades of Wisteria blooms and trailing vines to give a spectacular floral display. The decoration has been applied using the Pigment Brush-line technique and shows the mastery that the artist had over a wide range of decorative techniques and styles during her long service to the factory. To the base is the impressed Royal Doulton Lion and Crown mark and the incised artist mark for Eliza Simmance - also present is the letter date code for 1916.
