Here is an exceptional, vintage figurine of lovely Princess Diana in her wedding gown from 1981 made by Royal Doulton. This is #1028 of a limited edition of 1500 pieces. I bought this new off a store display and she was sitting on a dark cloth so the underneath edge picked up some of the color. The figurine, her flowersandwooden stand are in excellent condition with NO chips and NO crazingbut the box was roughed up. The outer box looks good except for completely loose hinges on the back.The inner box has a lot of marks,frayed edges in back and skinned areas on back also.This lovely figurine,made of bone china has a finely painted face and she even wears her famous engagement ring! I added a few pieces of material when I had her on display to show her long train and veil. I will include these pieces in the box.See my photo #7 with the extra material added. Both pieces of material are flat, so simply fold them under around the edgesand around her gownto create your own unique look for your display. She stands about 8 inches high and the wooden base is about 2 inches high and 6 inches across.
