Text. This is an sale for a Truly Wonderful item of Royal silver. It is a silver tray or Salver. It has a full set of London hallmarks for 1823 and the makers mark IC/WR for Joseph Craddock and William Ker Reid. The weight is about 1160 grams, it measures exactly 12 inches in diameter.

The border is cast in heavy relief with grape vines, dogs, eagles, faces etc. The centre is engraved and features the British Royal crest of the Lion Rampant and the Unicorn rising up to the Royal British crown with a lion on top. The Latin motto reads \"NEC REMERE NEC TIMIDE\" or Neither Hasty nor timid.

This is a UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY and there will not be another offered. It would have been commissioned by one of the Royal family for use in their home and given as a gift in the late 19th century for services rendered.

If you would like to inspect, it is in my living room near Blackpool in Northern England. If you are lucky enough to buy, you may collect and pay on collection. The cost to pack and ship to the USA or anywhere else would be only £100 GBP ($160 USD) plus insurance. If you have an account with a courier (FED X, UPS or similar) packing is free and you can have them collect for you.
