Magnificent Royal Vienna plate! Beautifully hand painted in soft pastelcolors with amorous shepherd’s scene. Raised border lovely gilt-decorated withalternating burgundy and pink sections of scrolls in the Renaissance style. Marked with blue underglaze Viennabeehive mark. Excellent condition, high quality porcelain plate, very goodcondition: no chips, no cracks and no repairs, some rubbing to the gilding, themark was used during 1850-1860. Diameter: 9 1/2 in (24 cm).
