This 6 inch round tile trivet commemorative from the Royal Wedding of July 29, 1981 includes black and white images of HRH Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer surrounded by a colorful floral and vine design. The tile comes with a black metal trivet frame.

Centered above the two pictures is “ICH DIEN” The Prince of Wales’s feathers is the heraldic badge of the Heir Apparent to the Commonwealth realms thrones. It consists of three white feathers emerging from a gold coronet. A ribbon below the coronet bears the motto “Ich dien” (a contraction of the German for “I serve”, ich diene). The wedding bells at the bottom of the tile are symbolic of the celebrated wedding day.

On the reverse, it’s marked Pilkington, England with the number 19 and an ‘X’ in the middle of the tile.
