Truck is in good shape with less than average play wear, especially for its age.The underside had a crack which has been repaired with epoxy and appears barely discernible from the topside, see pics.
Truck goes forward and backwards, left and right, works like a champ, backs up and
hooks up to the trailer as designed with no issues, see video at link the video you will hear a clicking sound when the wheels are fully turned, this is
absolutely normal and indicates the end of range of motion, identical to a Crusader
101 or Johnny speed, clever engineering for its time.
If you\'ve never had a running Johnny Express understand they are all slow moving,
they have a huge gear reduction system driving the rear tires.
They were also described as being able to hold a 200 Pound man!
I have integrated a different remote to operate the truck, the original remote is included,
but was disconnected when I got the truck, it doesn\'t lookbad inside but needs a T handle,
these are readily available.
Windshield has some scratches, all lights/stickers present, reproduction stacks, originalinstructions included as well as a small Catalog from the company.
Trailer in good shape, rolls nicely, trailer lift and lowering legs operate as they should.
Boxed accessories include Forklift and instructions, forklift displays well but needs repair, all pieces present, same forCrane, the small round part needs to be glued back on the base, again see pictures to determine for yourself as I am no
expert on these at all buteverything is actually in good shape for a 55 year old toy, I was more interested in
the boxes than what was inside them due to the great colors they have.
Cargo does not have stickers or instructions but in good shape.
All boxes have bright and vibrant colors, some scuffs
or tears, forklift box has one loose flap, all boxes display very nicely.
All in all a very nice truck and set of accessories it\'s running and driving, makes an excellent display piece, isn\'t missing a lot
of parts and is reasonably priced.
