For your consideration, this beautiful antiqueSadler \"cube\" teapot. FOR DISPLAY ONLY--not for actual use as the teapot is not watertight--please understand this prior to purchase. Liquid seeps through the underside after some time of sitting in the pot--no significant cracks or chips to cause this, but the tea will slowly seep through the crazing of the glaze on the bottom. I assume it is simply a failure of the glazing due to its very old age.

Absolutely gorgeous display piece however. Beautiful, elegant design with gold side\"columns\", floral wreath and gold swags throughout. A tiny fleabite chip and speck of a stain on the underside of the spout, some rubbing on the gold of the lid and a subtle 1\" flaw on the spout itself--right along the line of gold trim--see photos. Also a few very minor chips on the underside of the lid--cannot be seen when the lid is on the teapot.

It measures 10\" long from handle to spout, approx. 6\" high, and 5 1/2\" wide. A perfect piece to admire on your shelf! Please ask any questions prior to purchase.
