Hand Painted Title CelComic Mint, your best source for rare, kooky, and classic animation art, is pleased to offer Scooby Doo fans this sensational one-of-a-kind, hand painted cartoon cel, produced for the Hanna-Barbera & Cardz series of trading cards,which were produced and released in 1994. This RARE cel was designed by IWAO TAKAMOTO (the designer of the Scooby Doo characters).
We have supplied a high quality xerox of the original pencils by Takamoto, from which the cel was created. The artwork features the whole cast: From left to right: Freddie, Daphne, Scooby and Shaggy - with Velma fumbling for her glasses as the villainous CREEPER approaches.The cel measures 14.5\" X 11.5\" inches, and the artwork is in excellent condition without any paint chipping
or breaks in the black line. The characters are all fully painted onto celluloid, and the cel is placed against a photographic reproduction of the original background. An original card accompanies the artwork, as well as the xerox copy of Iwao Takamoto\'s pencil layout - AWESOME !!!! The artwork is based on the classic \'Scooby Doo, Where Are You?\' episode #23, titled: \"Jeepers, it\'s the Creeper!\". Original Airdate, October 3rd, 1970.The artwork was created in 1994 at HANNA-BARBERA and originates from the collection of a Hanna-Barbera employee, and the artwork is issuedwith a certificate of authenticity.
