SET OF FOUR VINTAGE LIBBY COMPANY PHEASANT GLASSES CIRCA LATE 1950 EARLY 1960S:

You are offerding on a SET OFFOUR VINTAGE PHEASANT GLASSES PRODUCED BY THE LIBBY GLASS COMPANY, CIRCA LATE1950-EARLY 1960s. Each glass is 3 1/2inches in diameter across the top narrowing to 2 3/4 inches in diameter at thebase which is formed by a 1/2 inch wide clear glass band. Each glass is 3 1/2 inches deep and will hold12 ounces of liquid. One side of each glass\'s outer surface shows amulti-colored, 2 3/4 inch tall male and a 11/2 inch tall female pheasantwalking through golden brown, meadow grass.The opposite side shows a 1 1/2 inch pheasant in flight and the dark brown, silhouette of several smallerpheasants soaring in the sky high above the meadow. I purchased these glasses at an estate saleand have no direct knowledge of their age or history, however, ALL FOUR glassesappear to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION, no chips, nicks, or cracks, no water or lime deposits and no wear ormissing paint on the pheasants or grass featured on the sides of the glasses.The only minor imperfection is a smallamount of shelf or utensil wear on the clear glass portions, which accounts forthe low opening offer. These areas in no way detract from the charm of these retro era glasses andare onlynoticeable under close inspection and are even less noticeable when the glass is filled with liquid, however, I did want buyers to beaware of them.I have tried to photograph these to show all sides so please look closely at theaccompanying pictures and note thatthese glasses are BEING SOLD AS IS and RETURNS ARENOT ACCEPTED ON THIS sale.
