SETH THOMAS ANTIQUE SHIPS BELL~6 IN DIAL~CIRCA 1887
Offered is a rare 30 hour Seth Thomas Ship\'s Bell Clock with Ship\'s bell strike lever. The clock is in good working condition and is ticking and striking, but needs cleaning and service. Great parts clock or restore, needs new or find an old back board with a bell and you are set. This wonderful piece of maritime history has a rich tone to call out the ships bells for a standard 4 hour watch. I have found the clock listed on a Seth Thomas site as being made in 1885 but understand that this model with the rare strike lever was made in 1887.
Theclock has an original 6\" face, and a 7\" hinged bezel.
