A beautiful Rococo / Baroque style Seth Thomas Empire antique mantel clock with an ornate gilded case.
This 8-day time & strike clock works beautifully and strikes every half hour and every hour
The dial and hands are in pristine condition
The glass on all 4 sides is clear and in very good condition
The ornate gilded case is spectacular although most of the gilding has come off over the years exposing the yellow metal underneath. But the photos show that this does not detract from the overall beauty of this very special and rare timepiece
Dimensions are: Height = 14\"; Width = 7\"; Depth = 5 1/2\" Weight = greater than 10 lbs
This is a clock to keep or gift and will enhance any setting in which it is placed and displayed. Definitely an attention getter
