Sony Classical proudly announce the release of ‘Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny’ (Music from the Netflix Movie), featuring original score by Shigeru Umashi. The soundtrack also features the internationally acclaimed pianist, Lang Lang, on the song “Eternal Breath,” which is performed by the famous Chinese vocalists CoCo Lee and Jam Hsiao.

“Being part of the soundtrack has been very special for me. It was an honor to work with CoCo Lee and Jam Hsiao on the track “Eternal Breath” and I’m very proud of the result. Shigeru Umashi created an amazing score with touching themes and melodies,\" says Lang Lang.

The American-Chinese martial arts film directed by Yuen Woo-ping and written by John Fusco is based on the final book in Wang Dulu’s Crane-Iron series, Iron Knight, Silver Vase. The movie deals with the legacy of The Green Destiny, the mythically powerful sword wielded by Chow Yun Fat in the first film, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Renowned warrior Yu Shu-Lien (Michelle Yeo) comes out of retirement to keep the legendary Green Destiny sword away from villainous warlord Hades Dai (Jason Scott Lee). The sequel not only brings back Michelle Yeoh and Jason Scott Lee, but also Donnie Yen (Ip Man), and Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike Chang from Glee).
