Offered here — a Keith Haring original black marker drawing of a jumping figure ( also, in the artist’s hand, date and signature along with a cleverly applied personal dedication) drawn on site during a 1988 Tony Shafrazi opening for the Artist.
This offset lithograph poster was offered during the course of the evening of Haring’s exhibition in Soho at the Shafrazi Gallery and acquired then. An exciting affair in the heyday of the heady Soho/New York artworld!
Dedicated to “Carol”, the artist playfully “inflated” the “C” and incorporated the “O” into the original design imagery. Kept since that time in a flat file to keep protected all these years!
Never framed. Treasured and hard to let go!

Condition overall is VERY GOOD. Bold and colorful on white paper stock. All crisp and clean. Only the most minute bumps to edges here and there. There is a faint tiny crease at lower left corner. Reverse side of poster shows some areas of faint age in color to white paper stock. All minor and hardly noticeable and absolutely do not take anything away from the fine, fun and statement presence of this wonderful piece!
