This beautiful antique mixed metal gold and silver inlay Japanese Shakudo cigarette case featuring a village, temples and Mt. Fuji in the background. It shows signs of wear consistent with its age and has the original band that is used to keep the cigarettes snug in the case. The case is thin compared to the size of modern factory rolled cigarettes and has a slight curve to contour to the body when carried. It has a K24 stamp on the front and appears to have been made in early 1900\'s era. This piece measures approximately 5\" long, 3 1/8\" wide and 5/16\" thick. This is a rare item and would make a fantastic addition to any collection.
