This Is One Of The Very Best Dough Scrapers That I\'ve Ever Owned!!! This Signed Pennsylvania German Wrought Iron Decorated Dough Scraper (Overall: 4-5/8\" x Blade: 3-1/4\" x 3-1/4\" & Handle: 3-3/4\"), is Stamp Signed \"MS\" Within a \"Pie-Crust\" Rectangle and has Quarter-Moon Stamped Decorations Around the Sides and Top of the Blade\'s Face and a Very Nicely Formed Tapered Octagon Handle with Notches on the Corners!!! Signed Dough Scrapers are Very Rare and I Personally Know of Only (4-5) of them!!! The Maker\'s Stamp and Stamped Decorations Clearly Make this a Very Special Dough Scraper and a Prime Example of the Blacksmith\'s Art!!! My Guess is that this Dough Scraper was a Wedding Present for Someone Special, possibly his Daughter or the Daughter of a Wealthy Patron, as the Extra Work Put Into Making this Delightful Piece, would have Definitely Added to it\'s Cost!!! This Dough Scraper is in Very Good Condition with Minor Rust & Pitting, Surface Scratches and Minor Wear on the Blade as Defects (Please See Photos...)... Unfortunately, as you can Clearly See, this Dough Scraper was \"Cleaned\" of it\'s Beautiful Patina (You Can See it\'s Dark-Gray Patina within the Background of the Maker\'s Stamp...) or rather Wire Brushed by some \"Genius\" before I Purchased it and would Need to be Smoothed and Re-Patinated if the New Owner Chooses to do so... I had Intended to do this, but Never got around to doing so...
