I have recently bought a collection of signed Italian Buccellati sterling silver animal sculptures from a local estate. All of the pieces will be listed over the next few days and all will be sold without reserve. This listing is for figure of a bear in the seated position. The bear measures just less than 5 inches or 12.5 cm high, and weighs 156.4 grams or 5.02 troy ounces. The silver sculpture is done with excellent attention to detail and is signed on the bottom “GIANMARIA BUCCELLATI ITALY”.
The silver bear is in very good condition, there is some age appropriate darkening to the silver. Please see the many photographs.
