This is for avery stylish Victorian mans leather wallet with a sterling silver frame and clasp. The silver frame is hinged as is theround clasp which pulls up to open and this is marked \'Patent clasp\'. The wallet is black leather and inside there are two leather pouches and a socket to hold a small pen/pencil. The silver carries a full set of English sterling silver hallmarks dating it to London 1874 along with the makers initials H.W.D. for Henry William Dee. The silver is also marked with the French retailer \'Jones of 23 Boulevard des Capucines\' which isone of thegrand Boulevards in Paris. The wallets surface and silver are inexcellent condition with no damage, and the wallet has a lovely good quality feel to it, the inside pouches are a little worn as you can see and theywould need attention if you were planning to use it. When closed it measures 120mm (4.75\") by75mm (3\").
