This is a new, old item. It is still in the plastic bag it came in. The only reason I selected the \"used\" category instead of \"new\" was because the seal of the bag was broken and a twister tie was used to secure the item. The item appears never to have been used; it is clean and colors are bright. Item has \"Singer tag on it.\" It has \"Manufactured by The Singer Compnay, N.Y., N.Y. 10020\" on the plastic sleeve, so it was made sometime in the 1960\'s or later when zip codes came about. It also says on the sleeve, \"For best results, always use SINGER Needles in your seing machine.\" Item measures approx. 12\" x 2 3/4\".
This sleeve roll was used \"for easier and better pressing\" of sleeves; instructions are on the bag. Also on the bag, \"Burn proof Cotton Drill Cover, Finest Grade Sawdust Filling, Profession Design.\" Also on there, \"Note: For a smoother and safer no-shine finish, use a SINGER Press Cloth, sold separately, for all outside pressing.\" This item sold for $4.50 at one time (says so on the bag). It is solid and weighs a little over a pound all by itself. It has a plaid design on one side and a beige or tan color on the other.
The mark you see on the last 2 pictures is on the bag, not the item.
