Here\'s a presser foot which was listed in Singer manuals as a fashion aid, and sold separately. This attachment was described as \"especially well adapted to stitching lightly padded fabrics.\" Furthermore, \"...it is excellent for placement of straight stitching in block, floral or scroll designs.\" It is also recommended for use with the underbraider attachment (NOT included here), as the short, turned up toes allow fabric and braid to glide easily through the needle area. The moveable guide piece can be adjusted to different widths, and also removed and placed on the other side (see last picture). Please remember, when adjusting or changing the guide, to grasp the shaft, not the end piece - I\'ve seen these come bent, missing and loose.This foot has \"SIMANCO\" and its part number crisply stamped on the back of the shank. It is part # 35932, and will fit other low shank machines, such as the class 15, 99s, most 66s, 201s, and many others, as well as the beloved Featherweights, Models 221, 222. It is in very good used condition, with little signs of use, age or wear - all ready to jump into your project. In addition to the foot, I will send pages from Singer\'s teacher textbook, Machine Sewing, to help you get started practicing. Besides quilting, these pages will have instructions on how to take advantage of the foot for braiding purposes, when used with the underbraider attachment, NOT included here. And, finally, I\'ll send a COPY of the cardboard card on which the original foot could have been sold - fun to have, I think.
