Ceramic, never used, - not seconds, no crazing, no dings, no chips, no cracks. Your valuable collectible is well packed, protected and in great shape! PLEASE NOTE: The Habitat Americana line was specifically designed to look rustic and handmade; each piece will show brushstrokes and color variation, which is intentional and part of its charm.
Comes in original decorative box with very minor shelf wear from a retail warehouse storeroom - still in great shape for gift-giving!The interior of a 1950s diner is instantly recognizable, and calls to mind juicy cheeseburgers, frosty malts, rock \'n\' roll hits (2 for a quarter!), and carefree afternoons. This canister set embodies all the simplicity and enjoyment of your neighborhood diner as it looked in the Fabulous Fifties!The three sections of this canister set sit side-by-side to create a long soda fountain. All three feature a white cabinet with metallic silver trim around the countertop and baseboards. The counter is bright pink with embossed boomerangs. Each piece also features two barstools with green seats, pink trim, and green and pink bases. On the kitchen side, each piece also features stacks of green plates and cups and a pair of blue coffeepots. The right most canister is home to the gray cash register with a bright blue \"Thank you!\" sign on the customer side and some change on the kitchen side. A hamburger sits in front of one barstool, while a Davy Crockett coonskin hat sits on the other stool.On the middle canister, a Rock-Ola wallbox sits between two empty place settings, ready for your favorite selection! A green contour bottle and blue bell glass also rest on the counter. If you look closely, you see that a fork is missing from one of the placemats - it seems to have fallen to the floor!The menus are found on the leftmost canister, along with a heaping plate of eggs and bacon and a steaming mug of coffee. The green menus proudly proclaim \"Kitchy\'s Diner\" - so you can\'t forget where you are. The detail and color of this set are incredible!Each ceramic canister has a rubber gasket and is glazed inside and out. They are perfect for storing kitchen essentials (pasta, flour, cereal), as well as candies, loose change, office supplies, dog treats, cookies, or just about anything! They are also each dated on the bottom.As a Fitz & Floyd collector myself, I know how easy it can be to chip a piece of a set (the top to a teapot, the bottom of a cookie jar, one of a salt & pepper set...), even when being careful.
