Foryour consideration is a stunning SOLID SILVER STAMP, in rare MINTcondition, based on the original issued within NATAL, SOUTH AFRICAduring c1902-1903. This beautifully crafted \"KING EDWARD VII10-POUND\",exacted to the finest exquisite detail andmeasuring 13mm x 11mm, is one of the greatest stamps of the worldanda wonderful collectors item or gift for a STAMP or SILVERenthusiast. When Queen Victoria died in 1901, stamps bearing theportrait of the new monarch, King Edward VII, were issued. Above theportrait was inscribed the country\'s name, while below was thedenomination. On the sides the wordsPostageandRevenueappeared.since the stamps served both for postage and tax revenue. Typographedin orange and green, the 10-pound denomination, one of the highestvalues portraying Edward VII, was produced for tax revenue purposesand not for postal use. An unused specimen is extremely rare and, in1983, commanded upwards of $10,000. This particular stamp isconsidered collectable, since it is inscribed with the wordpostage.
