Selling my lifetime collection of negatives and prints: ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHIC NEGATIVE large format size 616 of Southern Pacific Class Mt-1 4-8-2 No 4300 at Bayshore CA in March 1957 photographed by the seller. This locomotive was overhauled in mid- 1956 but was involved in a side-swipe at Cahill St station San Jose towards the end of the year. Repairs at Bayshore were stopped just before this picture was taken. This gives the date a final decision was made not to continue using reserve SP steam in regular service. Watermarks are not on the negative, which is slightly \"tipped\" but has been straightened in the scan; the left-hand pilot is also just clipped on the negative. Postage to USA Canada & Europe $1.50.
