I have the most stunningly beautiful Tiffany & Co Art Deco diamond and platinum watch with a platinum and diamond mesh filigree strap. It is circa 1920 - 1930, the height of the Art Deco period. The total estimated carat weight is 4.5 carats, the clarity is VS-1/VS-2, and the color is G/H. It is in very good condition. I purchased it from a prestigious New York jeweler many years ago and have only worn it a few times. The name Freida M. Steudel is engraved on the back. The watch has a meticulously designed diamond and platinum safety bar that attaches to the opposite end of the mesh strap and snaps into place. Much better than a dangling safety chain!The strap measures just under 6.5\" long. This beautiful wristwatch is a work of art with very fine craftsmanship.
The appraisal (as shown in the photographs) describes the watch as:A lady\'s Platinum and Diamond Wristwatch made for Tiffany & Co. The watch has a rectangular shape, silvered dial with Arabic numbers, blue steel \"Brequet\" hands with inside minute track. The case measures 32 mm x 14.28 mm and it detailed on the sides with hand engraved motifs. The dial bears the Tiffany & Co. name. The bezel is ornamented with a row of bead set, single cut diamonds. The shoulders of the wristwatch each feature a Marquise cut diamond, bezel set in pierced diamond set field. The wristwatch is completed with a hand fabricated, 10.00 mm platinum mesh band that is bordered by a single row of individually set round faceted diamonds. The platinum settings are detailed with millegrain. The wristwatch is in excellent condition, weighs 32.8 grams and contains:2 Marquise shape brilliant cut diamonds
