~Antique c. 1890\'s Gas Electric 6 Arm Light Fixture~
- Professionally Restored and Ready to Install -
This Elegant Example of an Early Gas Electric Combination Light Fixture would make an Excellent Addition to your Home! The fixture has been completely and professionally restored with all new wiring, new sockets for the gas arms, and all the hardware for standard modern installation! The shades are all antique period correct shades in overall excellent condition with minor wear. The fixture is brass with patina and some minor wear including small paint marks. The electrical sockets are original with mica base insulators and new fat boy socket insulators. The gas shade holders were replaced and new sockets added. The arms were taken apart and soldered back toghether. All the sockets are standard size sockets, and take standard size light bulbs. The light bulbs shown in the pictures are for display purposes. They are a standard size clear round 40 watt bulb that can be found at most hardware stores. The maximum total wattage for this fixture is 720 watts. To ship more economically and safely, I will remove the pipe that goes from the fixture body to the ceiling canopy. It only takes a few minutes to screw the pipe back on and replace the brass pipe coverings. Antique light fixtures are one of the best additions you can make to your home! They add great character and enhance the appearance of any room! Again, all of the hardware necessary for standard installation is included so this fixture is ready to install!
