SSMC SAART BROTHERS Antique STERLING SILVER Cake Knife PIE SERVER Serving GRAPEAn antique Sterling Silver Cake Knife or Pie Server manufactured by SSMC / SAART Brothers, in the Grape pattern.We are pleased to present this antique Sterling Silver Cake Knife or Pie Server for your consideration. It was manufactured by SSMC (Sterling Silver Manufacturing Company) and believed distributed by the SAART Brothers. The Server is not monogrammed, and is in the Grape pattern.The Server measures 10-3/4 inches in length and weighs 116 grams. The handle is marked SSMC STERLING on its side. The blade is magnetic and appears to be silver plated - it was originally tarnished like silver until we polished it.Age appropriate surface wear is found with some slight bumps along the edge of the handle, and typical light surface scratches. The Server is free of any damage or tweaked edges. We rate its overall condition as very good (see pictures).This is a nice antique Sterling Silver serving piece.
