ORIGINAL RARE Antique PEWTER FIGURE STATUE- ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST

Antique, end 17th / beginning 18th Century, very unsual and rare handpainted pewter statue of St. John The Evangelist holding Book. These pewter statues are really very hard to find and this particular representation of St. John The Evangelist is also rare, since it did not belong to a Calvary. Please note small damages consistent with age (see pictures)

Size: circa 9,25 inch = 23,5 cm high and 3,35 inch = 8,5 cm at the widest part // Weight: circa 754gr
