This Stangl Pottery serving platter is part of the Golden Harvest pattern. They made this pattern from 1953 - 1978 and has since been discontinued. So, if you have this pattern at home and are missing the serving platter, I would definitely offer on my sale to complete your set.There are NO nicks, chips etc. - you will see glare in some of the pictures but that is all it is, just glare. You can tell that this platter has been used over the years with just a few tiny marks on the platter - not even worth mentioning, believe me. The gold handle has just a little bit of the gold missing but for its age, it is fine. The platter measures approximately 10-1/2\" x 10-1/2\". The handle measures approximately 5\"H. Back of the platter reads \"Stangl Pottery\" (with its circled logo and the letter R). Underneath, it reads \"Golden Harvest\". Then underneath that, it is stamped \"Stangl\" with a circle around it.I think this platter would be ideal for serving celery, carrots, crackers, cheese or anything else you might want. You could go around and serve your guests while they sit in your living room talking, etc. Just a really, really pretty platter to add to your collection.Please note that I only sell in the good ole U.S.A. and accept Pay Pal only.
