Up for sale is a very rare and very hard to find The Land of the Jawas Playset by Palitoy dated 1978 complete MIB. You see a lot of Kenner ones but never a Palitoy one.

This is one you don\'t see everyday. It is one of the cooler Star Wars MIB items I have seen in a while. It comes with a Jawa in a VERY RARE STAR WARS A BAGGY. The baggy\'s tape dried a little on the bottom and has come undone. However, I do not think the Jawa was ever removed from the baggy. There is a little blemish on top of the baggy due to a piece or arrant tape presumably from one of the other baggies. The baggy looks very nice though. The Made in Hong Kong print is nice and white. In all my Star Wars years, I was unaware of a Jawa in an A Baggy.

Anyway this playset is complete with all parts and cardboard pieces. You can tell it was not played with much. The cardboard is in very nice condition with no rips, holes, or tears. You can tell it was assembled a few times and not played with hard. It looks really nice. The colors are nice and crisp and I do not see any creases on the cardboard other than the areas that need to be folded in order to assemble and store. The base is in excellent condition too. There are 5 discs to mount the action figures on. There is also one solid piece to mount several figures on. The elevator piece is included and works nicely. The support pieces are especially crisp and mount the Sandcrawler in place nicely.

The box is in good condition with some storage wear here and there. Both sides were opened and the flaps are intact. The box has some areas of warping due to age but overall the box displays nicely.

The original Palitoy instruction sheet is included and in nice condition. It has a little discoloration due to age but is mostly white.

The original Palitoy baggies are included. They were all opened and some were opened a little roughly.

Overall this is a very nice opened and gently used complete piece. The original Jawa in A Baggy is especially noteworthy with this set.
