Here, the shipment gets controlled for its authenticity and value. This office is also authorized to issue the “Kimberly Process Certificate (KP).

A KP certificate is required for all rough diamonds that leave the EU. The certificate is a proof of the legitimacy of the diamond in that it is conflict free and legitimately sourced.
