This painting, NOT LITHOGRAPH BUT REAL PAINTING was created by the Israeli-Australian artist Stella Saper, or Sapir in Hebrew. I have no academic information background on this artist except to say that being based in Jerusalem during her early years, she probably went to the Bezalel Academy during her youth. She emigrated to Melbourne Australia and taught an entire generation of Australian artists. She exhibited in Melbourne and in Jerusalem.
The scene depicted here are Jerusalem\'s Old City walls near David\'s Tower and the Jaffa Gate.
This painting measures about 1 foot by 3 feet.
