BATON ROUGE/NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA ESTATE
THAT I ACQUIRED SEVERAL YEARS AGO-
ALL OF THE BUTTONS IN THIS COLLECTION WERE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION,
AND SPANNED A TIME PERIOD FROM
BEFORE THE ORIGINAL COLLECTOR WAS BORN IN 1850,
(SOME ARE AS OLD AS THE LATE 18th CENTURY)
THROUGH THE 1930\'S***
THIS LOVELY ANTIQUE LATE 19th, EARLY 20th CENTURY FRENCH BUTTON HAS A GILT BRASS RIM AND IS BEAUTIFULLY GLASS ENAMELED IN RICH PEACHY-DEEP IVORY ON FRONT-IT HAS A TIN METAL BACK AND SELF SHANK, MEASURES A HAIR UNDER 7/8\" IN DIAMETER AND IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE EVER BEEN USED---***ALL OF MY BUTTONS ARE IN EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION WITH WEAR CONSISTENT WITH THEIR AGE, UNLESS I STATE OTHERWISE***
