A superb sterling silver hatpin. It is hallmarked for Chester 1910 with the maker’s marks of CH for CharlesHorner. It has a beautifully designed having silver mounted tilting fylfotfinial sometimesreferredto as a swastika which at this time represented good luck and is nothing to do with what it was later associated to.It is in superbcondition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measuresover 6.5 inches (16.6cms) long including the steel pin and weighs 6 grams. Abeautifully made rare example.
