THANK YOU for considering our pristine, great running and super accurate condition Illinois private label 16 size, open face, 15 jewels, Getty Model 5, Grade 173, cupped gold jewel settings, full gold train, gold mean balance screws, ¾ nickel plate, stem wind, lever set fancy dress movement. The movement recites: “A.C. Graul, Sharpsburg, Pa.” He was a high-powered jeweler back in the day who at one time was President of the Pennsylvania Retail Jewelers\' Association. This fine and always popular Getty Model 5 antique movement is in excellent working order, with a dead flat and true balance wheel motion that has a fine, wide arc and strong, steady beat. The movement is a smooth wind, starts right up on just the 2nd wind with no coaxing, and lever sets as designed. The movement holds time within 30 seconds per week face-up after careful and prolonged hand-regulating before disassembly! Appearance-wise this movement is looking great, with bright, clean single exposed winding wheel and the popular \"half-moon\" click gear, bright and clean nickel plates with of the handsome engraving paint intact, spotless and correct old-style circular micrometer regulator needle and whip, super clean looking inside, around the sides and in front, and ripping and running holding railroad time!
