This is a quite stunning wooden walnut carving of the male warrior figure in full dress with a short sword being held in his hand & other carvings of which:

During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the 19th century.

Dates about c1880s.

Of a european origin.

Gothic.

A wooden walnut relief carving of the male warrior figure.

Portrayed in the warrior dress attire with a short sword in his hand, scabbard in other.

Wearing a helmet covering the top of the head.

Wonderful intricate detail and facial carving.

Reeds and thistles to the lower half.

Mounted onto the base with baize underneath.

It has an overall base size of about 4.75 x 4.75inches.

Angle to rear of base which is of more recent times.

Max overall height of about 15.25inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to any major blemishes except:

areas of minor chipping, nibbles and as of previous.
