This would have been an important 18th century sampler. Typically worked in with the alphabet across the top in different styles, including at the front flat top A\'s indicative of the period.. The bottom would have had a square picture depicting what appears to be an angel . This is rare !. Numbers 1 to 11 are found below this.
22 x 24 cm unusual small size not of band shape.
