A very fine quality & Stunning all hand made Necklace With Symbolic Joined Hands Holding a Fan (the fan suggesting flirtation ... ), A sentimental & Romantic theme which was common in the period .

The wonderful finely woven or braided chain rigid necklace is very intricate, heavy & thick . The closure is secure and is in the front with a very long hook .

This is a very unique Antique Choker Necklace . Hallmarked in many places with Makers Initials S with a star in between and K within a lozenge shape, Also the French Crab punch assay mark introduced in 1838 for Solid 800 silver . + Some other tiny hallmarks hard to make out most likely provincial or city marks.

Heavy Total Weight 100 Grams .

Antique Used Condition : Very Good Antique Condition with very little wear here and there on Vermeil or Silver Gilt + slight bend on chain link seems normal .

The Choker looks fabulous on & IS MEANT FOR A TINY NECK ( Normal for the period , they used to wear very tight chokers and bracelets )

Measurements : Inside circumference all around closed is:12. 25 Inches or 31.8 c m, Front hands and fans motif is 3 Inches long or 7.6 c m x The fan is 0.75 Inch high or 2 cm . width of the chain is approx 3/8 of an inch or 1 cm .
