STUNNING ENGLISH STERLING SILVER AND BLUE GLASS LINED SWING HANDLED BASKET 1937:

A stunning sterling silver andblue glass lined swing handled basket. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1937 withthe maker’s marks being FCR for F C Richards. It has been beautifully designed having an intricatelypierced basket and solid cast swing handle. The basket is supported on threescrolled feet. It retains its original blue glass liner which accentuates thepierced work. It is in super condition being free from dings splits andsignificant repairs. The liner is free from chips cracks and repairs. It is a good-sizedpiece measuring almost 4.5 inches (11cms) across by 5.75 inches (14.6cms) talland weighs 112 grams excluding the liner and 284 grams including it. A stunning eye-catching piece.
