Beautiful Georgian 18ct Gold Rock Crystal & Enamel Mourning Ring
Stunning antique Georgian ring with fine detailed patterned scrollingbandwidth one of the shoulders bearing the date 1743. Thecentral rock crystal panel contains a lock of hair and may have at one point also contained a skull orinitials which may have been removed over thepassage of time.
A very rare wearable and collectable Georgian piece.
Ring size - UK O US 7.
Weight - 3.3g.
Marks - none tests as 18ct or thereabouts.
Condition - offered in good antiquecondition, all of the enamel has worn away apart from a small section on one shoulder where the date is. Some light wear to the rock crystal with some abrasion around facet edges. A skull orinitials have likely been removed at some point from under the rock crystal.
