During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the mid 19th century.

Of aEuropeanorigin and probably French.

A superb portrayal of the seated cherub figure with an item being held in his hand.

Mounted onto the veined marble base with gilt decoration to:

the corners with gilt bronze leaves which continues in other areas.

Mounted onto the four decorative gilt bronze feet.

It has an overall height of about 11inches.

It has an overall size ofthe base of about4.5inches square.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall conditionisvery good with:

areas of chipping to the marble, mainly to the angles.
