This is a very unusualand rare Whitefriars architectural slab. I think that this is a corporate giftor advertising slab for a company or organisation but I cannot be sure. I haveseen around 3 of these before – including one that was retailed by well knownWhitefriars dealers “The Country Seat” a few years ago. The slab has the figureof a bull or buffalo impressed into the base. The slab is 4.5” square and justover 1” deep, and must date to around 1960 to 1969, as the colour is clearlyArctic blue which was in production between these dates. There are no scratches, cracks or chips – I cansee a minute fleabite on one corner which I mention for accuracy only.
