The interior follows the sidewall andis lined with a single slot forward slanting black velvet ring pad;this ingeniously presents the ring forward without having to tilt thebox. The lid is lined with the original cream silk padding withintegral hinge cover displaying the name of the original retailerMARKINGS:Base is stamped with the scarce Birks tree mark “STERLING / PAT.”

CONDITION:It is a period Art Deco object in excellentoriginal condition. For accuracies sake there is a miniscule dent tothe left of the button. It has never been monogrammed or personalizedin any manner. The interior is clean, the hinge tight, the buttonworking perfectly and the box closes securely. Ready for use anddisplay it will make a fine addition to any discerning collection andthe perfect object to present / store any ring of top quality.
